The Bundesliga wasn’t that exciting for a long time, Barcelona and Real Madrid are in a heated battle and in the Serie A the tension is building. Watching the games on TV is nice, but attending a game live is an unforgettable experience. In this article we give some suggestions as to which games you should put at the top of your wish list.

1. Sunday 1st March 2020: Real Madrid – FC Barcelona

El Clásico is on the agenda every season for fans of Spanish football. Real Madrid and FC Barcelona have been battling it out in La Liga for years and this year is no different. The point difference between both teams is minimal and an important battle will be fought on 1st March. The two title contenders will face off in Estadio Santiago Bernabéu. Last season Barcelona won both battles, even winning 5:1 in Camp Nou. Earlier this season, El Clásico ended 0:0.

2. Sunday 1st March 2020: Juventus – Inter Milan

Juventus has won the last 8 championships in Italy, but this year the club has strong competition. Inter Milan wants to break the winning streak of Juventus and win their first national championship since the 2009/2010 season. At the beginning of March Inter gets the chance to catch up with the current leaders when Stefan de Vrij and Christian Eriksen take the field against Cristiano Ronaldo and Matthijs de Ligt in the Allianz Stadium. Lazio is the third team in the title race and one should definitely keep an eye on them. On the 26th April Juventus plays against the team from Rome, the other top-team.

3. Saturday 30th May 2020: Champions League Final

The football season concludes this year in Istanbul with the largest European game: The final of the Champions League. Last year Liverpool took the cup home, beating Tottenham Hotspur in the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid. This year, the Atatürk Olympic Stadium plays host to the final. The following 16 clubs are the last ones in the running to take home the cup: Atletico Madrid, Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, Atalanta, Tottenham Hotspur, Red Bull Leipzig, Chelsea, Napoli, FC Barcelona, Olympique Lyon, Juventus, Bayern München, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Valencia.
