Compose your football trips to Bayern Munich and experience a match in Allianz Arena
Experience the most successful team in the history of German soccer on a football trip to see FC Bayern Munich team destroy other teams one by one. And enjoy the atmosphere of a club who has been hugely successful year after year.
Every season, the club fights for the top European football titles. In fact, Bayern Munich is one of only four clubs to have taken home all the major European trophies. And to date, they’ve won a record 24 national titles and 17 national cups!
As a result, they’re the only team that now bears four stars on its crest. It’s not for nothing that a visit to see Bayern Munich play is one of our most popular football packages.
The city Munich
Enjoy this cosmopolitan city that feels like a village and will make you feel right at home. Excellent restaurants, many green spaces, and a friendly atmosphere ensure Munich is a perfect destination for a football trip.
The historic buildings in the old centre of the Bavarian capital lend the city its charm. Plus it boasts a number of great museums including Munich Residenz, the former royal palace, the Pinakothek Museum of Modern Art; and Deutsches Museum – the world’s largest museum of science and technology. The modern character of Munich is reflected in vibrant urban neighbourhoods such as Haidhausen and Gärtnerplatzviertel, while Westend is especially hip and happening.
In addition to football, the region’s other main export is BMWs. That’s why no football break to Munich should go without a visit to the BMW Welt exhibition centre – a major attraction for tourists and football fans alike.
The Allianz Arena
Take a football trip to the iconic Allianz Arena, one of the finest and most modern stadiums in Europe – thanks to its remarkable cloud-like exterior made up of inflated EFTE plastic panels which change colour. If FC Bayern Munich plays at home, the stadium is lit red; for matches of the other home club, 1860 Munich, the stadium turns blue.
Despite its relatively young age, a lot of footballing history has already been made here: the opening match of the 2006 World Cup was played here. And in 2012, the Allianz Arena hosted the final of the UEFA Champions League.
The stadium has a capacity of just over 75,000. Grab one of those seats and join the throng as part of a football package to the Alianz Arena.
