The Commerzbank Arena

Plan a football trip to Commerzbank-Arena and you’ll experience first-rate soccer in one of the largest and most modern stadiums in the Bundesliga.

The stadium has been known as Commerzbank-Arena since July 2005. Prior to that it was known simply as Waldstadion. In addition to the home matches played by Eintracht Frankfurt, it also hosts American soccer matches played by the club’s Frankfurt Galaxy.

Commerzbank-Arena was one of 12 stadiums used during the 2006 FIFA World Cup and was renovated prior to the great event. Its capacity of 51,500 spectators makes it one of the largest football arenas in Germany. And is a wonderful treat as part of a football package to watch Eintracht Frankfurt play.
