The RheinEnergieStadion

FC Cologne plays its home matches in RheinEnergieStadion– giving you extra value in your football trip! Also known as Müngersdorfer Stadion, owing to the suburb it’s located within, the stadium can accommodate around 50,000 spectators during league games.

The renovated stadium was reopened in 1975 with a match between  FC Cologne and Fortuna Cologne:  FC Cologne won 1-0. In 2002-2004, the stadium was renovated once more and thanks to its revolutionary new lighting system changed its name to RheinEnergieStadion.

The atmosphere is ganz gemütlich which means there is no aggression – and even beer is sold in the stadium. A football package to FC Cologne in RheinEnergieStadion should be a fun affair!
