Liverpool – Anfield

Since the founding of the club (in 1892), Liverpool plays its matches at Anfield. However, before the founding of Liverpool, the stadium was home to rival Everton FC between 1884 and 1891. The stadium has a capacity of 54,074 and has 4 grandstands; the Kop, the Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand, the Main Stand and Anfield Road. The Main stand was expanded on 8 December 2014, making it one of the largest "all-seater" stands in Europe. The record number of spectators was achieved on 2 February 1952. Liverpool played that day against Wolverhampton Wanderers, this game attracted nearly 62,000 spectators!
