Celtic Park is located in the Scottish capital of Glasgow and is home to Scotland's largest football club; Celtic FC. Among fans of Celtic, the stadium is also known as "Parkhead" or "Paradise". The original Celtic Park was opened in 1892, but the stadium was renovated between 1994 and 1998 to its current state. More than 60,000 spectators fit into the stadium, making Celtic Park the largest stadium in Scotland and one of the largest stadiums in the entire United Kingdom. The record turnout was on January 1, 1938, during the "Old Firm" (main game in Scotland) between Celtic FC and Rangers. At this time, 83,500 spectators were present during this match.
