Craven Cottage

Fulham FC – Craven Cottage

Perhaps Craven Cottage is the stadium with the richest history of every other club in England. The stadium itself was built in 1896 but the 'Cottage' (originally a hunting lodge) in one corner of the stadium dates from 1780. Craven Cottage is on the River Thames in London and has been owned since its opening in 1896 from football club Fulham. At the moment the stadium has space for 25,700 spectators, but there are plans to expand the capacity to 30,000. The record number of spectators in Craven Cottage was achieved in 1938, more than 49,000 spectators were present during the Fulham-Millwall match!
