Crystal Palace – Selhurst Park

The construction of the stadium started in 1922. The land on which Selhurst Park was built was originally owned by the LB & SCR railway company. The land was purchased for just £ 2,570 and the construction of the stadium was finished in 1924. Selhurst Park is located in London and is currently home to Premier League club Crystal Palace. In addition to Crystal Palace, Charlton Athletic and Wimbledon FC also played some matches in Selhurst Park. Charlton played their home games in the stadium between 1985 and 1991 and Wimbledon took the stadium into use between 1991 and 2003.
