St James’ Park

Newcastle United – St James’ Park

St James’s Park has been used as a football stadium since 1880. Newcastle United moved to the stadium in 1892 and have never left since. Among other things, the stadium is known for the strange asymmetrical appearance that arose after stadium expansions in 1998. Thanks to these expansions, the Newcastle United stadium is now one of the largest stadiums in England, with a capacity around 52,300! St James ’Park was voted the best stadium in Europe in 2018, especially the great atmosphere and the high number of spectators were important reasons for the election of St James’ Park.
